we did it. sold the house. we're moving to the north end. it's all good.
ella for the first time today successfully used a fork to eat some macncheez for supper!!!! the best part? when she didn't get any on the fork but still carefully, slowly brought it to her mouth anyway, just for practice.

"ring around the rosey"
we have had some crazy times around here, peeps. finally, though, things seem to be settling down just a bit.
a bit.
let's see. i went my this test to see about getting preggers. found a tumour in my uterus instead. so this week i'll be having an ultrasound to find out more about it and whether it's going to be a problem or not.
then we found the right new place for us, and made an offer and put our place up for sale and got an offer. about a million steps in between that, of course, like having some work done to the house to spruce it up, and packing up stuff to go into storage, etc.
big stress on the work front. not enjoying that.
ella's teething. had a horrible cold and cough. cough is still lagging. i have bronchitis. 7 days of laryngitis. and so on.
anyway, didn't want to post a big whine session. the good news is, the house is pending and hopefully everything will go fine.
my uncle and family were in town this weekend and it was great! chloé and ella had fun together. even more so when mykelti and brydon were there too! (as you can plainly see in the photo!)
