well, she has two, as many of you know. but, i fear she is working on numero tres. because, waking up in the middle of the night is not ella's thing.
and she's taken to sucking on both of her thumbs at once, one on either side of her two little teeth.
she also looks ever so close to crawling. she did a couple inches of backwards crawl the other day. it was pretty amazing. between that move, her usual inchworm thing, sitting up and falling gently sideways/backwards/forwards/anywhichway, she gets around.
hence, we are learning about childproofing. bought some coffee table corner softener thingys. and a thingy to make the oven door stay shut. and outlet covers. and so on.
she loves my new hair cut. because now strands hang out and she can grab them. ouw. and also, she's fascinated by my teeth lately. she sticks her hand in my mouth and feels each tooth. pulls on them. i chomp on her fingers lightly sometimes and she finds that extra-entertaining!
on the weekend i spent lots of special time with her. neela was hanging out with her sister so it was just me and ell. it was kinda nice. just the two of us...
