standing. that's pretty much ella's whole life right now. she loves standing. so, we got her an activity table, which plays jazz! how cute is that! she has a great time with it. standing all day long. now she can pull up on anything. the couch. the activity table. her exersaucer which has been converted to toddler-saucer (even tho she's only 8 months old, wah!), the bathtub. pretty much anything.
it's so exciting to watch her get stronger and steadier everyday. kind of sad too... my little baby getting soo grown up. but really, it's just amazing. the development that comes truly every single day.
she's nonstop saying mamamamamamaa nowadays. which we love, of course. i say mama loves baba. and she says mamababa. so cute. and she's starting to mimic things other than faces... like yesterday she kind of mimicked me waving a big wide wave.
we skipped out on our library class yesterday, to sleep and make sure we were both really recovered from our nasty cold, which now poor mommy has instead of mama and baba.
oh, on the activity table again... one of the little thingys has a woman singing scat when you open the little door. it's so fun. ella tries to sing along with her going ba ba ... baa ba. and yesterday i noticed her singing along with the music at the end of a movie i'd been watching while she was playing. and she loves to sing along with her mama and mommy any time we sing to her.
it's enough to melt your heart.
