thanksgiving in sk was great. ella got some real quality time in with nona and my grandma, and uncle brody and auntie tara as well. it was really really good. ella and i stayed behind a few extra days while neela caught a ride back home with regan and daniel. it was so nice to have a bit of extended time - i think mom and brody and tara really had more of a chance to bond with bambina-bella.
crib news - as soon as we got back from sk, i took the broken crib rail in to once upon a child. they replaced it no problem and gave me the info to contact the manufacturer. i've written them a strongly worded letter wondering how they'll make me confident in the safety of the crib from here on. will keep everyone posted how THAT goes.
in other news, the computer is back up and running with no data losses, thank the gods.
and, ella is now mobility central. crawling, climbing, pulling up, cruising. it's exciting and terrifying! she's running high-speed now folks. and today, cutest thing ever: sara and michael came over for a visit and everything sara did, ella did too. she followed sara's every move - or at least tried to! and sara was giggling away as she tried to give ella the shake crawling this way and that way and hiding round corners. soo cute.
