i'm getting ready to start ec! it's basically potty training for babies. except it's not training. it's just mama getting attuned to baby's "elimination needs"... so i'm shopping for this itty bitty potty. (want to know more, read this article.)
ella had her 6 month shots the other day. she did great as usual. neela says she tried to warn the other babies in the waiting room though, talking up a storm afterwards. she weighs 17.5 lbs now! 26.5 inches long. and she's in the 90th percentile for head size! (neela asked if she could have too big a head, doc said nope. that's good news for our big-noggin-babe.)
had a great weekend with dorrie and bill and lillia the other weekend. it was so nice to see the babies together, and to just catch up. now we're just gearing up for the big trip to vancouver for brody and tara's wedding! ella's dress is going to be a big hit, we think!
did i mention ella's been trying new foods? big thumbs up on sweet potatoes. pretty much a big no to avocado though. next up: banana!
